I had a very strange experience at this place.
I pull into their drive through, and get greeted by a very alarmed looking woman. "Hi" she says,
"Hi, I'd like a plain salted pretzel and a water" I replied.
She then proceeds to look at me with an expression on her face like I'm clinically insane. "You want a what???" she says. "A salted pretzel and a water?" I reply.
She pauses and continues to look at me with an expression of complete and utter confusion. "A salted...pretzel?" she says. "Yes....?" I reply.
"Ok, and you want water? What kind of water to you want?" she says. Now I'm the one looking at her with a look of utter confusion.
"A bottle?" she asks. I nod in the affirmative. I'm then quickly given a bagged pretzel and water, and drive off.
It's difficult to explain. It definitely wasn't that she didn't hear me at first. It's that she was genuinely shocked and deeply confused that I was ordering a salted pretzel. From "The Pretzel Place."
The pretzel itself was okay? Not outstanding, but not stale and gross. I don't want to go out of my way to knock businesses like this. The world needs more drive-through pretzel stands, believe me.
But for the owner...maybe share this review with your team and talk about customer service fundamentals with them? And make sure they're okay??

This second time I've been there. The first time was amazing, soft buttery pretzels....this time I ordered 3 pretzels and they were hard, kind of stale really chewy. The cheese sauce was spicyer than normal. Disappointed

Absolutely my favorite snack in Redding, quick, fresh, and delicious! I always get the Parmasan Garlic Bites with their spicy cheese. Oooo yum!

This place is so convenient to get to and it's a drive through! I had a pretzel dog and it was so delicious with much more flavor than a regular dog... they also have many other delicious menu items...
