I use to watch my community ice skate here. Now I see families, friends, significant other, and students conversing, eating, skate boarding, rollerblading, hanging out, family's with first time bike riding, most beautiful the homeless interacting with our community laughing, sharing, watching with smiles, like they belong not being herassed, told to leave! I go here almost every day just to feel the warmth in my heart. ... . "It keeps the faith of Hope in me and I feel ALIVE.

I enjoy the vibe of this area especially since the Space Whale has graced us with its omnipotence. A great decide between mid town and the downtown casino area that needs some serious TLC right now.

Nice whale sculpture. Not much to do. Its flat with only a few rails.

This is a nice public space in downtown Reno, right on the Truckee. When not is is, the skateboarders take over. But I've also been there for a craft fair and a vigil for the Charlottesville victims. Open, clean, safe public space in the center of town for varied uses - a good thing!
