At airport. Correct estimate..but $25.00 for a 5 mile ride??? Then driver takes $40 cash a only has change to give back to $35.. gave himself a $5 tip!!! Note recommended if that is the way they roll

I ordered a cab a week in advance because I was traveling from Minden to the Reno airport, had a lot of luggage and two elderly passengers besides myself, one with a walker so needing extra room. Cab driver (who was new and so on probation) was 15 minutes late , cab smelled like cigarettes, was full of personal items in the back (clothes, bags, other assorted garbage). Dispatch couldn't call her because they didn't have her phone number, and their GPS is 15 minutes behind. They need to upgrade their equipment. We ran out of gas just as we were getting off of the freeway at the airport. Had to wait 10 minutes to get a replacement cab (and we were already late due to first driver). When cabbie opened the back, all of our luggage fell out and one of the suitcase locks broke when it hit the ground. I was required to pay the fare anyway. I submitted a complaint and am still waiting for a call from a manager. I will fight the charge with my credit card company, as I refuse to pay for such terrible service.

I haven't had a kind word to say about these unprofessional idiots in well over 25 years. Today is no different (5/8/17).
A little after 4 o'clock one of their taxis leaving Reno going up my street totally blowing the stop sign. He gets in front of me drives really slow and at the next stop light doesn't even move until I honk my horn. Eden star storing of hand signals and then when I finally do get around this guy he starts chasing me down flipping me off.
When we arrived at the corner of Bill and Wells I was going straight this Taxi Driver was turning right and we were both stopped at the light. We get into a shouting match II starts cussing at me telling me that he's going to kick my fat ass and I better watch it.
Their dispatchers, when I call to complain about this guy didn't have a clue.
I have zero love for whittlesea taxi.
I am personally boycotting whittlesea Taxi. I have been for roughly 25 years. I will call Reno Sparks or I will walk.
