This river walk is not like San Antonio. We we're there in November. There are very few restaurants and not much in the way of shops. The river itself was attractive.

Nice place to enjoy the Truckee River. Picnic areas. Walk and bicycle path. Theatre, bike rental and river tours, kayaks. Nice.

Fun to walk along the river. Some great restaurants, shops and a full service movie theater. Interesting people watching location. During the summer locals like to tube down the river.
