The staff at Brinkby Animal hospital is top notch. I take my 4 year old Rottie here, and have found the prices to be very competitive for the Reno area. They really try to work with me when I have a vet Emergancy, looking to get me in same day when I really need it. The anal gland expression is $15.00, which my dog frequently needs. I am very happy with this vet!

Really wish I could have given a review, I understand that when there is an no show that you would not want to reschedule an appointment, but due to a family emergency I had to drive to Utah on a Friday night and arrived at about 4 AM and didn't really have any time to cancel my Saturday 9AM appointment. I am a very understanding person and would like to think that there is a little more compassion here, not trying to bash on the services just wish that there was a little more understanding here when it comes to family emergencies and the lack of communication when a close family member is in critical condition in the hospital.

We were referred to Brinkby Animal Hospital way back in 2002, and we've been taking our cats and dog there for most of the time (except emergency situations that occurred when Brinkby wasn't open). Dr. Larry Ricciardi is very straightforward and factual, without being rude or short. They've recently (in the last 5 years) brought on Dr. Evan McQuirk, who is also wonderful. We brought in our 10 year old dog earlier this month, who was presenting with vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite, and Dr. McQuirk laid it all out for us as far as what could be going on, what we could do, etc, and even boarded him for us for a couple of days so he was under a watchful eye while my husband and I worked. In the end, unfortunately our dog could not be saved, and we had to have him put down. 2 business days later we got a sympathy card from the vet expressing their condolences for the loss of our family pet. Above and beyond.
