Genuine North Carolina pork bbq is first rate! Brisket and side items are amazing also. I will definitely be back. This place was a lucky find!

Great mac and cheese. Nice bartender. Beef brisket was not particularly good. I recommend, but not overly enthusiastically.

This was a SCORE on many levels:
The FOOD: I had the Triple BBQ platter with Chipotle Mac-n-Cheese and the perfect Potato Salad! A side of Cornbread topped it off. Thanks Buster!
The Bar and Staff: The small bar is adorned with Fire Fighters patches as a well as Fire Engine motif through out. The owner Shawn introduced himself and made me, as well as others, feel very welcome.
I ended up sticking around a few extra hours after dinner. We shared mutual stories of our adventures in the Navy. Shawn also gave me some very interesting historical background of one of the oldest farmers market in the country!
This was a SCORE on many levels:

in a town that seemed especially bland this bar was a saving grace, bartender was friendly, wings were great the sauces were great, and beer was well priced. the atmosphere in the bar was amazing. 5/7 recommend to everybody
