Inexpensive, great movies. Concession stand needs to offer a little more variety, and lids for the cups. New seating looks nice but not as comfortable as we were expecting. Overall it's a nice place to see old and current movies. The history of it is what brings us back and staff are always welcoming.

A great, old, freestanding cinema. Thanks to a fundraising campaign, there have been great recent improvements to this gem right in Carytown, Richmond, VA. It is what going to the movies should be, nice and affordable - a large popcorn is only $5. Their programming is constantly changing, so check back often.

Huge old movie palace. Takes you back to the glamorous art deco period with a massive crystal chandelier that hangs high over the theater seating. The seats aren't so good for long movies, but they're upgrading them at this moment so that loses no stars. I love this place.

Classic theater with a beautiful interior. Definitely a fun and affordable way to go out and enjoy a movie. State of the art projection and sound. They're in the process of replacing their seats. Until then expect to be poked by historic springs in the ancient chairs.

This is a old theater being restored. They charge $5 for movies some older but most just left the theater. Also they have film festivals, and best of all they have a wonderful organ built into the theater. At scheduled rimes they will play before the movie and is absolutely beautiful.
