A nightmare. I am new to Richmond, looked for a dentist close to me, found Great Expressions, and called for a teeth-cleaning appointment. No one ever cleaned my teeth. I was bombarded by three women who took x-rays and told me I had periodontal disease, and it is against the law to clean the teeth of a person with periodontal disease. I was speechless. Then, their accountant came in with a form for me to sign authorizing them to do work that I did not ask for in an amount well over $1,000. They were very pushy and persistent. I left there fast. Now, they won't give me my X-rays because of a supposed balance I owe. The dentist I saw today said it is against the law to not provide me with my X-rays and he cleaned my teeth. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Virginia Dental Board, and my insurance company advised me to also file a grievance with them. I have been going to dentists for almost 60 years. This experience was most unpleasant. My advice: Find another dentist.

Fallon is the best hygienist ever. She wages a war on plaque, gingivitis, and all other forms mouth problems. With a bandolier loaded with floss, toothpaste, and hygienist tools she is ready to take on any task thrown her way. No job is too small and no battle is too big for her expertise. Fallon is tooth fairy approved and welcomes all.

What a great experience! I had an abcess that swelled up so badly that I had to come in for an emergency visit. The staff was friendly and quick. The nurse was amazing. The doctor was fast, professional, and painless. They explained everything to me and eased my nerves immensely. This has made my family permanent patients.

This place is TERRIBLE! From day one I was FORCED into appointment times I stated I was unsure I could make. Then the first time I am unable to make one of their appointments they tell me its a 35$ fee to reschedule within 48hrs!! Not only was she rude but she hung up on me when I said I was unsure if we would return! They would not give copies of xrays and wanted to charge for them. Seemed pretty pushy with numerous procedures off the bat too and I was not feeling at all comfortable. When it comes to my families dental care I think I would rather feel welcomed and comfortable instead of forced and scammed out of money. Please. Avoid this place at all costs!!
