A much nicer facility since it was rebuilt. Meeting rooms are outfitted with appropriate technology. Food options are nothing to write home about. There is a Starbucks if your tastes lean that way.

Consistently awful service. You have to stand by one of the multiple sections and wait for someone to come help you. The stir fry/sushi section and the grill are the only places that escape the "I'm going to make eye contact with you and raise my eyebrows but hope you walk away so I don't have to do my job" curse, because either there is little to no human interaction (at the grill you can write your order on a slip and hang around until it comes out, so thats not anxiety-creating SOMETIMES) or the people at the stir fry/sushi section actually do their jobs quickly, politely, and efficiently (which is most often the case) . Everywhere else is chock-full of people who act like they are being held at gunpoint while being forced to, for example, take two seconds to grab you a slice of cheesecake. (Why does THAT piss you off?? Ma'm, I'm just trying to get my girlfriend a nice surprise, why are you making it so hard for me? I stood by the deserts area during the least busy part of the night for THIRTY MINUTES once, waving at and making eye contact with everyone who walked by but not yelling because I also work in food service and know how obnoxious yelling is. But, why does THAT piss you off?? You don't even have to make anything in that instance. I can see you're on your phone, but if you put it down for two seconds to help me I'll go away, I promise). Understandably, the grill is probably a nightmare to work at, with a dorms-worth of students constantly coming through with dumb questions and requests, but why do you have to shoot me a dirty glance every time I walk up? Is my zipper down? Do I have a doppleganger running around campus slapping books out of people's hands? Do I have an annoying face/voice? I always say hello, say please and thank you, and the best I can get back is "Yup"? The only people exempt from my blanket "awful service besides the stir fry/sushi section" statement are Claudia (A wonderful, slightly sassy but not too much "your favorite aunt" type), A dark mountain of a man that works at the island and has a voice as deep as a subwoofer, and a kindly, adorable African American woman that works in the pizza area, who I keep thinking is named "Angel" for some reason. I'm honestly just tired of being treated like garbage for trying to eat here instead of a 15-20 minute bus ride over to the main campus. It's almost like they don't want anyone to come in. Like I said, the food is good, but the service is so, so awful. Like, look, I know being a cashier is boring. In fact, I browse the Internet when I don't have customers. But really? Not even going to look up at me when I approach the register and say "Good Morning"? Ouch. Thanks.
