This place has a lot of potential, with a delicious sounding menu. However that is where we fall short. To put it plainly the food simply lacks finesse and finish. This is our second time here, and will be our last. Food lacks any real flavor. Dishes are put together with all the listed ingredients but neither balance nor seasoning. We have sampled a wide variety of menu items and our findings have been similar for everything we have had there. I'm sorry, as I say this place has potential, I wish they would live up to it.

Great spot locals enjoy on a regular basis. It has a dive type atmosphere- but not a gross dive! It's cozy and intimate and gives you a good feel for Richmond. You'll see some unique food choices and specials written on the chalkboard, as well as a happy hour. They have a good selection of beer, and everyone I eat with is always satisfied with their food. If you're trying to eat here on the weekend- expect a wait and if you come during an off time and their pretty slow I usually get slow wait staff service at that time...but it's always worth the wait. This isn't a get your food quick and leave type of place. I recommend eating outside!

I split the Cuban sandwich and duck proscuitto sandwich with a friend. Both were good but the Cuban was my favorite. We also split a spice of chocolate cake which was delicious. Great diner with friendly service.
