So, I wasn't going to write a review about my experience, but as of today I haven't rec'd anything back regarding my complaint. I went there on 11/29/2016 for my birthday to enjoy brunch with my best friend, but I experienced some delay and encountered some problems.
I was exciting with informing others about a nice restaurant , but then they don't live up to the standard you was bragging about! That was my experience on that day. So we placed an order with no problem, but after we sat ten mins later the cashier tells us we don't have Alfredo to make part of the order. So they gave my friend something else instead and he was okay with that. From there we waited an additional 25 mins to get our order.
I went to check on it and they was just putting it together. Gladly I checked as the side order I asked for wasn't correct in the container. So, I reiterated what side I wanted and to find out the chef looks for it and then reply "We don't have rice!" From there I'm very upset and I informed the staff they need to know what they have before someone places an order. Also it was inconvenient for us to find out afterwards, the cashier replied "I understand" and that was it as she was being very passive.
We sat and ate the food, but the shrimp had fins on them and they was overcooked. So not use to this at all. I asked for the owners information and then called them later. Well Dill Road location is now part of a franchise and the original owners are at another spot. Talked to Kevin and his wife, they assured me they will look into it and get back to me about compensation and to this day I haven't been informed of such.
I use to come there all the time, but since the change I will not be coming back unless there's a change. I like to support African American businesses , but this by far says alot about why there's not enough support in our community.
