I looked at a million different salons on google and yelp to get my hair done for a ball. This one stuck out because of all the updos I seen on their website. The website is miss leading according to my experience. My experience was not good. The people are really nice but I was not pleased with my hair at all. The lady did my hair twice because I didn’t like the first updo she did. The second time she did it, i still wasn’t pleased with my hair. I was ready to get out of there by this point. I thought $70 for an updo was way over priced.

I've had my hair cut twice here and been very happy both times. Simone appreciates long hair and doesn't just try to chop it off. She has also taken time to show me new ways to style my hair both times. The studios decor is really cute too!

Having long hair, haircuts can be very stressful at times. I used to sit in the chair and describe my wishes that seemed to fall on deaf ears as with every cut, I was typically disappointed. And many ended with tears as I headed home.

That has never been my experience at Scissors. I now sit in the chair and time and time again, with or without requests given, Simone does her magic and I have yet to be disappointed in my hair cut or color. Just what I am hoping for everyone and without evening having to ask.

All her employees are incredibly friendly and they truly do their very best at making you confortable as possible.

Once I found Scissors, I keep driving the 3 hours to get there for their services. Yes, they are worth it!

I look forward to seeing what beautiful design Simone comes up with for a new location in the future. She promised to stay local and is just waiting for the right opportunity to expand. So don't let the temporary For Sale mislead you, they are still there and thriving!

I actually found this place while researching for my wife. She went today and is so happy with her hair! The color is awesome & she was so glad she met Simone and her great staff. What a unique salon! My wife is very happy...so happy wife happy life!!Thank you Simone!

The people are very nice, but a little distracted and were working on multiple clients at one time. They definitely need more people to handle the number of clients they were trying to do all at once.

I went for a blowout and makeup for a wedding and rather than give me a full blowout as requested they just went straight to curling my hair with a flat iron. Liz was very good at curling, but then the owner proceeded to rip through the beautiful curls and just make a mess of my hair.

The makeup set up was amateur at best but the work she did looked OK in the salon lighting. Once I got outside it was a different story and I looked so over done that people even commented on it..

I ended up redoing both my hair and my makeup myself.

The salon itself was very tacky and cluttered, with people tripping over power cords. The salon cat was very cute though.
