I rented a car for 1 day on August 13, 2017. They place a $150 hold on my credit card (in case I did not pay the tolls). I went online and paid toll before I returned the car on August 14, 2017. Today is September 26, 2017 and though I have called and had Orbitz call they have yet to remove the hold on my account! THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Please avoid this car rental company. The experience is a night mare. They bill $150.00 security deposit, to be refunded within 7-10 after the vehicle is returned. I have returned the car with a tank full of gas and no damage. It has past 7-10 business days. My $150.00 has not been refunded, I have made multiple attempts to get my money. It has proved abortive. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I hope they refund my money. They have no reason to be keeping my money.

Don't be fooled by this clowns they also go by the name of nu car rental . They will tell you that it takes 10 days to get your deposit which isn't true. It took me 32 days to get the security deposit. They play phone tag games the give you different number & nobody will return phone calls. Its part of their protocol. They play tricks they wouldn't give you the last paper of the contract when returning the car. Plus they have old cars with worn out tires, crappy cars with poor hygiene very messy. I wouldn't recommend no one to rent from this place. It was a horrible experience. The Newport beach office is a disaster. I will never rent there again.

Worst car rental company I have ever dealt with. If I could give zero stars, I would. The car I rented was filthy, on the outside, it looked ok, but open the doors and hatch and there was thick dust everywhere. Looked like last person ran it through the desert. Then on the inside, they had 11 (I counted them) air fresheners hanging through out the car. I complained, but the guy assured me that when I returned it I would not be charged any extra for cleaning. I stressed that that was not my concern, that I rented a car and I expected the car to be clean. He said that that was the only car they had, take it or leave it. I said I would take it, but could you have someone re-clean it? He said take it or leave it. I reluctantly took it. When I returned the car, I was not charged extra for it, but they said they keep deposits for 10 working days after returning. I have made numerous calls, because it was 25 working days since I returned car, I still have not received the deposit back. Stay away from this car rental company as a savings of a few dollars is not worth the headache. Finally after day 30, talked to accounting and they say deposit will be made in next 48 hours..

This is the worst car rental agency in the entire United States. Consumer beware, the customer service is horrible and the staff is unprofessional. I rented a car last night and it was filthy. The agent was nice and agreed to clean the car, but due to time constraints and the fact that we rented the vehicle because we had an event to go to so he agreed to have the car washed the next day. The authorized user of the car took it in and the agent was very rude, and going around in circles with him, he decided to take the car and have it washed. I called their so-called corporate office and explained the situation and he was just as rude the the agent. It is not worth the few pennies (and I mean this literally) saved to rent a car from people that are rude and unprofessional. I should have read that reviews prior to renting this vehicle. The only reason they even got one star from me is due to the fact that you can't post this review without doing so
