LASIK has become a pretty common surgery over the past 20 years. There's no shortage of qualified surgeons or patients who will attest to excellent results. While 20/20 is always the goal, it's not achievable for every patient. I am one of those with a of severe myopia who never dreamed 20/60 was even possible. But it was. And with excellent follow-up care and advanced auto-refractor, was able to precisely determine my prescription to bring me to 20/20 within a few minutes.

I should also add, the professionalism and courtesy extends to the office staff. Smiling, welcoming faces, ready to assist and put you at ease.

My surgery occurred on a Sunday. Yes, a Sunday. Just an example of Dr. Cheng's tireless dedication and willingness to accommodate a patient's schedule if possible.

I need to share how happy I am with the results from my eye surgery with Dr. Jean Cheng, She was happy to explain to my husband
and I how the surgery would go, what risks may be involved, etc.
She is very patient and not in a hurry to end our meeting; and answering questions so they are understandable to "lay" patients.

I have started this letter several times never finding the enough or the right word to say Thank You.

please allow me at this time to say heartfelt thanks for taking time from your hectic scheduale to exhibit true patience, understanding and unwavering commitment to your job. You gave me hope and a better understanding of what I am dealing with and again I Thank You.

I have never felt comffortable with any doctors, but with you I felt comfortable and hopeful. Without a doubt you are an asset to your proffesion, so on the days that are not so good rember there is someone you know who appriciates you all that you do. I wish you the best of luck in all that you endeavor

For as long as I can remember, I have suffered with poor vision. Many of my friends and co-workers have had Lasik surgery to correct their vision, but I have always been too nervous to follow through with the procedure. Finally, I decided that I would have my vision corrected.
I researched who would be the best doctor to perform my Lasik surgery and I decided on Dr. Jean Cheng, MD. I was very impressed with Dr. Cheng and her nursing staff. All of my questions and concerns regarding the surgery were answered and my nerves were put at ease.
Over the years, I have spent a lot of money on material possessions and I now realize that Lasik surgery is by far my best investment. I am very thankful to Dr. Cheng and her staff for correcting my vision to near perfection. I am no longer bothered by eye glasses or contact lenses. My only regret is not contacting Dr Cheng sooner.
