On November 2 , 2017 I called appointment center to schedule a same day appointment with my doctor, as usual there were no openings for ANY doctor which is horrible in itself. The rep who I dont have the name of advises me to visit Urgent Care. The rep DID NOT inform me that the Urgent Care facility on Sunset had moved. I paid an Uber to take me there and to my dismay it was the wrong location. Member services rep should HAVE TOLD ME that the location has been changed. Thus paying for an Uber ride to the wrong location I had to walk 4 blocks while sick to go to the new location.

Upon finally getting to Urgent Care lady named "A. Mariano" laughed at me when I asked her if I could pay a partial co pay. She says "no, you must pay THE ENTIRE AMOUNT" . Ridiculous considering all the money I have paid for this bs insurance and medications.. I would have gladly paid the copay had it been billed to me but that option was not given to me. Then after talking to another lady at Urgent Care she said that that option should have been given to me and to contact member services to see if I can get this copay waived after the above inconveniences . I called them on Friday Nov 3 and also on Mon Nov 13. When I called today the rep transferred me to another lady named "marquisha" and she did not know who to route me with after 20 mintues on hold. i finally had to get off the phone with no answer and have not heard from anyone . WORST "MEDICAL' SERVICES, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND INTERACTION WITH ANY HEALTH 'PROFESSIONALS' IVE EVER HAD

Highly recommend for Spinal Treatment Center or Physical Therapy. Fair warning to those coming from outside the LA area, parking is not free inside the structures due arrive plenty early as they are older and parking is limited. Handi-capable people with placards may make use of placards using meters and available timed zones nearby outside, however. Excluding Wednesdays due to street sweeping. Plan accordingly.

I won't recommended to no body the doctor's they don't care.. i went to see a doctor on ophthalmologist dep. Them she told me she was going to refer me with another doctor that was 3 weeks ago i still waiting for the call. Them i try to make another appointment with the same doctor to find out what is taking forever and at the appointment center they told me the next appointment available is in two months...you call this a good service

I have been with Kaiser my whole life. As with any hospital, you will sometimes get bad doctors, but on the whole, I have been extremely satisfied with my experience there. I have a lot of medical conditions so see a lot of specialists and have been hospitalized several times. Plus my parents both use Kaiser too. We don't have to fight to get treatments like so many people I know do.

Kaiser was among the first hospital systems, let alone large ones like Kaiser, to get our records put on computer. So every time I see a doctor, that person can access whatever visit records or test results from my past they might need. And they use the computers to make sure there are no errors in giving medicine in the ER and hospital, since they have to scan your wrist band before giving you anything. The doctor types it into the computer in the first place to avoid handwriting errors, and the computer checks that there aren't any interactions among your medications with each new prescription.

I like that I can email my doctors, and now they have phone appointments for some medical issues. I can also view my lab tests online as soon as they become available. Mental health is also part of my coverage. Plus, I usually have to wait only 15 minutes or less to get taken to a bed in the ER at the Sunset facility, opposed to many hours at most hospitals.

No system is perfect, but this is about as close as we can get.

Horrible customer service. I have been waiting in this office for 2 hours and 30 mimutes, waiting in the EMERGENCY ROOM. Comes to find out they have 3 different branches and the branch I need does NOT OPEN UNTIL 12:00 PM. When I had been checked in, they did not tell me it was going to take 2 hours. They told me, "When a bed is available, the doctor will call you". Around 11:25 they called in another patient and said "Put him in a bed". How can you make someone wait in agonizing pain. All I want is brace for my thumb! Takes barely 5 minutes to wrap that up and send me on my way.... Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Horrible service! After finallt checking me in. I have been waiting in a room for results. I live at the Covenant House of California and Kaiser Permanente has made me miss lunch by not telling me my services will be looked at by 12 when I was here by 9:30. I posted the first part of the review around 11:35 am, now it is 1:09 pm. Ive been here over 5 hours. Where as my real services took 20 minutes... so 20 minutes/5 Hours? That means 4 hours and 40 minutes of me just waiting around.... WAITING! Why! ALL I NEED IS A BRACE FOR MY THUMB!
