I had to have all four wisdom teeth removed, and there is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Caplash and his staff are the best out there! Family members recommended this practice, so my parents and I traveled all the way from New Jersey to have this procedure done. I had to go in on a Sunday morning; the staff made sure that I got the best treatment possible! Angela and Bernadette (nurses) were very friendly, and they made me feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Caplash had a very gentle hand, and I couldn't feel a thing when I woke up. The doctor and his staff are very dedicated to making people feel like family and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend Rochester Oral Surgery to anyone who needs to have any procedures done, they will make sure you have the best experience possible.

I came in and the doctor was able to give me a full list of options for how I can approach having my wisdom teeth removed (or not removed). He was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions I had, as well as reassure me that he was there to give options for ME to choose from and help me in any way he could. In the end I got IV sedation and had the tooth extracted. The assistant was able to comfort me before the procedure. I don't remeber a thing! Two days after the procedure and I felt great, I didn't even need any pain medication. The surgeon called me to checkup and gave me a cellphone number to reach him at if I ran into any issues. I never imagined in a million years having a tooth removed could be so easy and pain free.
I can't imagine how any of the staff could have been more helpful! Highly recommend!

I have been dreading getting my wisdom teeth out for years. I was probably told 10 years ago that I needed to get them removed. I was terrified though since I had really bad oral surgery experience as a child. Well this year they started bothering me so much I couldn't put it off any longer. I was devastated to find out the my dentist that I have been seeing for years and trusted was out of my insurance network and it would be pretty costly to go through him. So I got a list from my insurance company and Jolly Caplash was one of the options. Having no idea who to pick off this list I started asking around and Dr. Caplash was literally recommended by everyone I asked. Yesterday when it was finally time for my surgery I was on the brink of a panic attack walking in their office. This was the most major procedure I've ever had done and had never been knocked out before. The nurse was so kind and calmed me down immediately by offering to give me laughing gas before they even gave me the IV. I literally remember nothing after that. I just know I ended back on my couch comfortably at home. I woke up today and I'm still barely in any pain. Haven't taken anything more than ibuprofen and Aleive. I also received a very nice call from Dr. Caplash last night to check up on me. Had I known it would be this easy I would have taken care of this a long time ago. Thank you so much to Dr. Caplash and everyone at Rochester Oral Surgerh for making this experience a breeze and far exceeding my expectations!!

He forgot that there was packing in my socket until I found it over 2 months later!!! Then he tried to tell me that it wasn't his fault!!!
