We have been here many times with my sick kiddos. Inpatient on 7 South 3 times and emergency room as well. We absolutely love the new facility. Everything is child-friendly, the nurses and staff are great as well!

The best children’s hospital in the whole New York State from the nurse practitioners to the registered nurses the secretary’s the Technicians & every single doctor in every different unit they have made my baby their #1 priority giving her the best care & greatest love she can receive and not only her but me also & my family thank you so much to all the staff of Golisano Children’s Hospital I will carry you all in my heart forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have been bringing my 3 year old here most of his life, due to him being sick quite often with bronchitis or eat infections. I was told several times in the past 2 years however, that he was fine and sent home shortly after arriving while my son had a fever and a horrible cough and trouble breathing. Sometimes he was prescribed antibiotics or albuterol( many times I was told he MIGHT have asthma or allergies causing him to,always be sick but they won't test him due to age)... About a week ago this happened again and the doctor told me that my son was fine and to give him honey and fluids and sent him home... Today however my son's temperature reached 103.6 and I had to take him to a hospital closer to home as we live an hour away. The hospital he was at today actually ran tests. Such as blood work and xrays and found my son has,pneumonia. Out of every single time I've been to your hospital my son had never had tests run on him and I had always taken him there due to the reputation of it being Such a great children's hospital. I won't be coming here again. This was the last straw after prescribing my child the wrong,medication that caused him to become even more sick a few months ago. This has been ongoing for the duration of my child's 3 years of life. I think it is disgusting that they don't take things seriously. If my child was actually looked at here he may have never gotten,this bad.

My son received the best care he possibly could have anywhere. The entire staff was outstanding, the facility is fantastic and everything is centered around the patient. Dr Gitzelmann is honest, caring and explained everything to my 7 year old so he could understand exactly what was happening with him. Thank you all for making a difficult time as good as it could be.
