Its like night of the living dead in there. But instead of zombies, its crackheads knocking on your door and everyone elses all hours of the night for a lighter or "bus fare".

A friend is forced to stay here until he is able to work something else out. I can't believe that this place is even legally able to rent, especially considering most of the tennants are subsidized by the government. One of the beds had mouse/rat droppings under the sheets. There was a dead mouse that looks like it had been there for a long time, just being ground into the carpet. Speaking of the carpet, there was dried vomit goodness baked right into it. It might seem like a joke to say, but honestly I would never sleep in one of those beds

In its day I'm sure it was the "Cadillac" of hotels with some Art Deco architecture. Now used for the poor and indigent, it also serves as a half way house.
