My dog lost 10lbs a week after being nuetered (over $600) at laurelton. Charged me for blood work to see if he was ok for the procedure(over $100+) never heard of this. Charged me additional a
$50 for being 7 days over a year old. (REALLY). My dog stopped eating and broke out in welts all over his body a week after. My wife brought him in and saw Boehm (won't give him the credit of being call a Dr.) He didn't know what was going on with my dog but he was going down hill fast. Treated him with a bland diet and appetite stimulator after blood work came back normal.($250+) All organs levels were in normal range The next day I thought my dog was done for. So we brought him back again . They still had no clue after running more test.($200+) So this were I suggest all to stay clear. I question Boehm on the test that were being run and at this point I was very frustrated. So yes I was becoming irritated and frustrated and yes my voice came across that way. His reply to me is "Come get your dog and file. We no longer want your dog here" . I was shocked. Talking about abandonment. He said my wife didn't listen to his suggestions (lie ) He's the expert and that's why I'm paying you. You figure it out. I can go on and on about this but I'll cut to chase. Horrible vet. They are rude overwhelmed with animals and have no time to take care of yours. They do have time to run useless test on your animal and over charge you though.

Great staff. A little pricey, but they do an amazing job of getting you in right away.

Laurelton is the worst by far! DR. BOEHM KILLED MY DOG!!! My dog was the patient of the female doctor there and she wasn't there one time we had to bring my dog in to have his routine blood sugars checked (to make sure his insulin dosage was working or should go up or down, etc). So he saw Dr. Boehm. They did the blood sugar testing on my dog and he told my mom he could take my dog off of insulin completely! Not taper it or anything, just completely take him off. My mom questioned him about it but he reassured her that he could be taken off. That was on a Monday and by Friday he was throwing up blood. My mom brought him and they kept him there all day. Dr. Boehm called my mom and told her there was nothing he could do so we had to get him put to sleep and told us to hurry over because he had to be out by 5:30 😡 we got there and he was basically already dead 😢 his eyes wouldn't even move. It was the worst thing to see and one of the worst experiences ever. After the fact, I got the medical records and brought them into my previous job and had the head doctor look at the records (I worked in a doctor's office). He looked them over for me and told me that noone should ever be taken off of insulin and that Dr. Boehm obviously didn't know what he was doing because the reason his blood sugars were normal was because he was already on insulin. He told me my dog suffered ketoacidosis which is a painful death. My mom and I filed a complaint with the board of professionals and come to find out, someone else was filing a complaint on Dr. Boehm at the same time! Even after all of this, he still wanted us to pay for the office visits!!! My mom desputed the charges. He is a horrible vet and a cold person. This happened over 4 years ago and my family is still devastated about it.

Total dump. If you show up on time you are still late and they won't see your dog. Total rip off financially. Diagnosed my last dog with a torn ACL and turned out at the emergency vet he had bone cancer. Expensive at beck unfriendly staff and always suggest way overpriced procedures. Avoid at all costs.

We have had our dogs cared for here forever! Love the care. Was especially touched when we had to put one of our old friends out of his misery. Always hard, but the caring, understanding and tenderness of the staff made a wrenching experience a little easier. They eased my dog respectfully out of a life of pain all while coaching and comforting us humans through the process. Thank you!
