There's a beach! Kiddos can swim while I fish. They have a wall of life vests. Limited lot of parking space though. It can use a little TLC instead of the cones and caution tape where you park your car.

This place is good to visit in the evening or maybe on weekend you will find lot of people spending their their time here. I would say we can spend around two hours at this place you'll see many families with their kids enjoying at the Riverpoint.

First time at the park. I was hanging out there with my friend and a strange person, presumably homeless, come and gave us crazy looks. Standing from about 10 yards away, at our backs, he stared us down for a full minute. He didn't even utter a word. He then left and came back to about 30 yards away and asked us if we had a cigarette.
This man was probably on drugs and he appeared to be an aggresive person. This made is not to want us come back to this park again.

Well developed area that Sacramento put together for walking, biking, jogging, fishing, with benches for taking the sun. This is a transition area with a fair number of homeless and street people camping in the area. Probably not the best area to go to after dark .

One of my favorite river spots to go to! Soft sand, clean beach. But cold water!!
