Somehow, the chef here can take a ham and cheese sandwich, and turn it into what my niece called "the best meal I've ever eaten."

One sandwich is definitely enough for two people, which is important because you'll want to save room for some bread, salads, and--especially--the dessert. We had the raspberry crème brulée and a chocolate mousse. Most crème brulées are on par with each other. This was simply the best I've ever had. A layer of raspberry just under the brulèed caramel, with a creamier-than-usual custard base.

...now I'm hungry...and sad that I live so far away. Enjoy!! : )

For a tasty lunch sandwich with good value, you can't beat Cafe Rolle. I always come here every time I am in the Sacramento area. It can be a bit busy during lunch time.

If you are looking for a yummy sandwich then cafe Rolle is the place to go too! All their sandwiches are delicious but the salmon is by far my favorite. wonderful waiting staff, lovely Ambience!

I absolutely love their Pate sandwiches and fresh Berry desserts. My husband and I have been here three times and I've never had a complaint. :-)

They make you feel like you're not in crummy Sacramento. That's all I need. Oh yeah, they make some of the best sandwiches I have ever tried.
