I went here because one time I had a really amazing breakfast burrito with everything on it. However yesterday when I went back I tried to order some soup and asked "whats in Menudo is it beef?" The girl couldn't explain to me she just told me menudo and pizzoli are both in red sauces so I was adventurous and tried it under the assumption that it was normal meet. Come to find out Menudo is Cow stomach and I'm only mad because at the Taqueria you should be able to tell me what kind of meat is in the ANY PLATE(especially if it's something "exotic") not the opposite meat that's in the Pizzoli. I specifically asked if it was beef and she couldn't tell me what kind of meat so to get home and find out that it looks basically just likes sauce and fat(the cow stomach wasn't a muscle meat so it was chewy and greasy), I was livid. Then to top it off I spent over 10 mins in the driveway. THIS PLACE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK, FROM THEIR SERVICE TO KNOWING WHAT IS ON THEIR OWN DAMN MENU AND WHAT IS IN EACH ITEM!!!

This place is just hands down the best place I have ever gone to for mexican food. There is this one restaurant that has them beat for tortas though, but they're still good. They have lots of locations all over sacramento and they're all really good. This location is just bigger and has a better atmosphere with all the sports channels showing through out the place. I moved to Arizona and this is the first restaurant I go to when I go back and visit. The mexican food here in AZ isn't good and it's mostly americanized southwestern, bluh! Wish they had a La Favorita here. It's my favorite! No pun intended.
