Live bugs in the parmasean shaker! Friend noticed after we finished eating the heavily parmasean doused pizza!! Eat at your own risk! The alcohol was good.

Visiting Sacramento before flying out of the airport and had one of the worst human interactions I've ever had in this city. The blue haired bartender was very short and curt to my entire party the moment we walked up the bar. We all ordered a drink and we're the only other people in the bar besides 2 others. We walked in because of the advertised "best bloody mary in Sacramento". Ordered 3 of said bloody marys, a double rum and coke, and a soda. The blue haired bartender was super short with us and cut us off when we asked questions about it. We watched our drinks get made and watched the double rum and coke look more like a single, but took it anyway. We sat and started our bloody marys and we're all incredibly underwhelmed. Mind you, these were $8.99 drinks which is super steep, and this is coming from people that live in Washington DC and are used to a GOOD bloody mary being maybe $6. After discussing the drinks not being good, I went up to the bar and asked what we could do, maybe a new drink or a refund. I was put on the stand about why we didn't like them and given an eye roll when I explained I'm used to fresh tomato juice and actual spice. I was then told this "best bloody mary in all of Sacramento" was made with PRE MIXED bloody mary mix. After I brought the drinks back to the bar to exchange them, she told me we drank too much of one and she couldn't take it back, then poured us bad replacement drinks. I wouldn't have had any problems if our bartender wasn't so rude, short, curt, and nasty. I would not recommend this place of business for any drink needs or even atmosphere.

Always a great time here! Karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. Great bar food. The Tombstone fries are a must try, but they do have quite a kick!

By far, the best bar in Old Town Sacramento! Great drinks! The BEST Bloody Mary I've ever tasted too! The owners are super people! They enjoy hanging out with their customers! I'll always stop in at River City Saloon every time I'm in the Sacramento area!
