Had a terrible weekend in Scranton when I hit a pothole and wiped out two tires. Enterprise Rental was courteous, understanding, and extremely capable throughout my disaster mitigation. Would strongly recommend for all car rental needs.

ASST MANAGER ANTHONY made the difference with this car business transaction. I was waiting for a car to be serviced at the garage next door. The five stars are for his professional and personal courtesy shown to me. Without ANTHONY being there to finalize the transaction I probably would have left no comment and would not rated the business at all.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Fit me right in same day. It is very helpful to call ahead and setup an appointment just to be sure they have a vehicle. Busy but fast service.

I was hit while driving a few weeks ago, and had to have repairs done, and in the meantime, I rented from this shop. They had me put a $350 deposit down, since since they didn't know how long it would be needed, and they said insurance company had to put everything through still. A few days later I confirmed with the insurance that everything was getting covered.

Two weeks later my car is still being worked on, and I look at my bank account, and see that Enerprise charged me an additional $150 deposit! I immediately called the front desk, and asked why my card was charged. The person explained after X number of days, they have to make sure the deposit is updated for the rental. I asked to speak with the person who charged my card.

The manager who spoke with me, Shane, said he was the person who put the charge through. Not knowing that they should have been charging the insurance company, and they had in fact never gotten in contact with the insurance, I then asked why I wasn't informed there were going to be any charges before the charge was made. I wasn't even given so much as a phone call! I had no records of them trying to contact me. Shane tried to tell me that the issue at hand wasn't that I wasn't told about the charge, because I would have to be charged weather I agreed to it or not, because otherwise they would report the car as stolen! I wasn't even upset about the charge, I was just angry that they charged without telling me at any point that there would be a charge, and implied I was stealing the rental! He interrupted me numerous times, I felt like I had to start talking faster so he couldn't interrupt me, and even had to say, "No, stop interrupting," multiple times before I could even finish a sentence! I asked to speak with his manager, and he told me he was the manager. I asked again to speak to his manager, as in whoever his boss is, and he told me it wouldn't make a difference, because I was still going to be charged. It was as if he wasn't listening to a word I was saying! Eventually he gave me the name of his manager, but told me that he wouldn't be around for several days, because of the holiday weekend. He then continued to try to argue with me, and I had to just hang up! When the time came to call, it slipped my mind.

A few days later Shane's boss called and I was told I could be charged about $670, because my insurance didn't kick in yet. I asked them if they've been in contact with my insurance company, and they said yes, they've tried calling, and nobody's returned their call. He asked for the number again, so I had to hang up and call them back when I retrieved it.

When I called back, Shane answered, and wouldNt transfer me back to his boss. I told him the insurance has a coorporate number, so it didn't make sense that they couldn't reach them. I told Shane if they couldn't reach the agent directly handling the case, they could have spoken to anyone there to see what's going on, or called me! I gave the number again. He told me it wasn't their job to communicate with the insurance company. I double checked with him to make sure they didn't charge my card again, and reminded him that he needed to call me before placing any more charges on my card. He continued to try to argue, so I had to hang up.
He was very argumentative like before, interrupted me, and used a lot of , "honeys," "sweethearts," "and dears," when talking to me, like I was his girlfriend. It was completely inappropriate! I called back and made a complaint to a female coworker about his use of inappropriate pet names.

Later this past weekend I found they charged my card AGAIN without telling me!!! Shane's boss was not in, so guess who I got to deal with again when I dropped the car off? Of course he was very appologetic, but didn't admit any wrongdoing on his personal part, just tried throwing his boss under the bus. Oh and the breaks squeaked the entire time. I called the office only a day or two after picking it up, Shane answered, said the car was just inspected, and it was fine!!!

The staff were professional and courteous. Efficient and fast renting process. Car met my expectations. Will recommend to family and friends.
