Unfortunately everything about my last visit could easily be classified as catastrophic.
The food and appetizers came out at the same time and late, after we especially asked to try and separate the two (major pet peeve). The orders were wrong and undercooked, potentially risky. Requests were misunderstood or forgotten. It took a long time for each interaction. The manager had to come by and help and the same thing happened so I assume the staff was swamped all night.
I have been here before and it was always pretty good. Not the best Red Lobster but fine. I am also a kind rater and like this company in general, in case you wonder why my score is still decent. It is based on the business as a whole and my past experiences here, which were much better.
It felt like they were massively understaffed this past Sunday and if that is the case I don't foresee your experience being as bad.

Thought I'd see if Red Lobster had improved any since the last time I'd been to one years ago. Food was meh. Too much grease at the bottom of the wood grilled lobster/shrimp dish. The lobster was overcooked. Needed a knife to get it out of the shell. My friend's sockeye salmon was a measley thin portion. A rip at $22. People were waiting even though there were empty tables. Seriously anyone giving this place a good review needs to get out more and get cultured. Also Google's pricing algorithm is wrong; most of the entrees are over $20 so it should be $$.
