I would NOT recommend using Dr. Kim for any surgery. It is a doctor's responsibility to ensure patients properly understand the procedure they are to receive as well as the recovery time and process. He did not provide any of that information to me. I was totally unprepared for the operation and had no idea how long the recovery would take.

I am beyond frustrated with this clinic, more specifically the Ob/Gyn clinic. I have been rescheduled 3 times now just for an annual exam. When I asked if I could see another provider they told me no that I would have to stay with my provider. I get my physician has to be in surgery some days. But EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT that I have scheduled, because they have asked me to reschedule, they call me days later saying that my provider once again is being called out to surgery and they will need to reschedule me, again.. that makes it 4 times now. I do like the physician and the medical assistant but something has to change in regards to their lack of organization and scheduling of appointments.

Was referred to Dr. Jaffe by Dr Moores because of continual back pain that had recently reached epic proportions. I can't think of anything else but my pain, and I can only find a comfortable position lying down. Jaffe reviewed a 2 year old MRI and explained in detail how arthritis and bone shifts were causing my pain, and those conditions likely worsened over the past two years. He recommended a new MRI and invasive surgery. Nicelong term strategies, however, when asked for a short term strategy to manage my pain with medication he refused. He said my biggest problem was being overweight and to focus on that. When I reminded him my pain level was a 10 and I couldn't excersice to lose weight he said become a vegan. Okay, another nice long term strategy but nothing to address the level 10 pain I'm in. Good Dr how much weight must I lose before the arthritis disappears and the bones return to their original position? I'm waiting Dr. In fact, how much weight must I lose and how many vegan meals I must eat before the invasive surgury to fuse my spine is unnecessary? Basically, Dr. Jaffe he said go get an MRI fatso, and shut the f*** up about your pain. So I called my primary care phycician; Dr Moores explained the situation to here assistant, who was argumentative from the outset indicating no medication would be given without an office visit with the next available visit being weeks away. I pleaded for somthing to be phoned into my pharmacy and was promised a call back on Friday which never came...so more pain to endure over the weekend. Write it down folks Dr Jaffe and Dr. Moores are absolutely horrible doctors, without any compasion. The hypocratic oath? Haha, they're in it for the money and nothing else. They won't be getting any more of mine.

Wonderful! ALL of my doctors work there now! It gives me a great excuse to drive up through the avenues every week - it is so beautiful. The receptionists are friendly. I rarely have to wait longer than 5-8 minutes. Usually it's just "go on in"! I chose my doctors because they are the best in their fields, and this is where they all eventually decided to work. So, for this reason I believe that many very good doctors are now working at the Avenues Specialty Clinic.
