Update: Naked Fish is now Ikigai. The focus is more on general Japanese food vs. just sushi. Dinner here is amazing but the lunch menu is a little limited.

Best sushi in SLC, hands down. Make sure to try the Salmon belly, Hamachi belly and citrus shrimp.

I went here when it was Naked Fish and the sushi was phenomenal. Great restaurant layout inside. Smaller and very cozy. Great for a date

If you're looking for food with purpose and passion, Ikigai is for you. I have been impressed by the The Chef and his wife - The Pastry Chef who offer you the best delicious & creative food combinations.
Lovely ambiance, attentiveness & friendliness of staff !

I've been to Ikigai twice since they made the shift from Naked Fish and each time I've been impressed. They've re-imagined some items from the old menu as well as added a plethora of innovative new choices. If you were a fan of Naked Fish don't hesitate to put your trust in Ikigai.

My new favorite restaurant!! Hands down the best food I've had in salt lake... I have dreams about the pork belly and Brussel sprouts!! Service is incredible, huge step up from the naked fish! A completely new look, do yourself a favor and Go in there now!
