The atmosphere is very traditional but the service is always exceptional and the food is delicious and portions are huge!

The interior needs some updating. When our server was stocking the croutons for the salad bar I saw him eating some. The salad bar was messy because they give you super tiny plates for salad and no place to set anything. Need to get mashed potatoes on the menu. Certain foods just don't feel right when not served with mashed potatoes. The staff was very nice, food came out in a timely manner. Server accidently dropped my plate so they had to remake, still came out pretty fast. Baked potato was dry, suppose I could have asked for extra butter but it was loaded. Probably won't be back because the food was okay and prices were on the higher side.

I'm sorry, but I did not enjoy my experience here. The steak was acceptable, but didn't wow in any way. We had a large table of about 20 people and some received a random variety of wine glasses. Some of them were from some event back in 2005, some had wide tops or thin tops, some were taller or skinny. It was weird, like they just got whatever they could and served out of it with no consistency. The appatizer came in a bowl that looked to be from a workers home and my baked potato was small and overcooked on the ends. I was not the only one who had this experience. I guess I shouldn't expect much while in San Angelo, but I come on now. I won't be returning.

Nice place, good atmosphere, and the Ribeye Steaks were Texas Proud. The server was good, but it was busier than expected, and I could tell he was frustrated. He really did well, and the Salad Bar was fresh and well stocked. Brought home enough for another meal for the two of us. Well done, Zeltner's Daughter!

Omg ! Don't waste your money! This is the worst German food I ever had state side, and that's almost trophy worthy! I'm not a picky eater but when even the fries are raw and just grease soaked... made the huge mistake to order the jaegerschnitzel... not sure what sort of meat I was served but it wasn't pork like it said on the menu... short just don't! Just don't!
