Always a joy to visit this beautiful place! The shops are plentiful and always welcoming. The smiles are bountiful and contagious. Definitely a must for all locals and visitors as well!

Visit this mall frequently during San Japan/PAX South/Other Cons, having that little corner store type thing next to the steakhouse is a LIFE. SAVER. This mall has a lot of stores but somehow still leaves something to be desired, everything is fairly clean and riverwalk access is fantastic. I've been going here since I was very young, so it holds a special place in my heart and brings back good memories nearly every time I visit.
Visit this mall frequently during San Japan/PAX South/Other Cons, having that little corner store type thing next to the steakhouse is a LIFE. SAVER. It's a good mall for time usage & buying small unique items. It has several good restaurants and is unusual in that an anchor is one of the two Convention Center Marriotts.

The mall is great but let me warn you to be very careful if you go to Relaxstation Tranquility. I had a foot massage and a 30-minute massage. Everything was great until it got time to pay. It was 78. The people do not know English very well and then he wanted a $20 tip. At home, I don't even pay this much for an hour massage that does what they did plus their technique is very different than the traditional massages I have gotten before.

I love going to the River Center mall when I visit San Antonio. However the shopping selection seems to be lesser than other shopping centers and malls I have visited. For it being 3 levels it still leaves a lot to be desired.
The easy access to the River Walk and nice outside views are great! You can dine at a handful of restaurants here that offer outside dining Such as Chili's, Hooter's and Tony Roma's.
The mall also acts as a cut through for the River Walk so the mall stays open later to allow travel to and from the River Walk. However the stores close at their normal times.
Overall this is a great place to go to kill some time or use as a cut through to soak up some A/C during the hot summer months!!
