A great place to start your ride or casual walk. It's located at Park Police substation where several officers and trail employees are visually present.

Parking in the shade! Access to the Salado Creek Trail and primitive facilities (porta potty).

Great place to jump on the south end of the Salado Creek trail. Porta-johns available and there's always parking available. Somewhat secluded and close to Ft Sam. The trail goes about 8 miles south and passes by a lot of pretty areas and several parks.

It's very small but it's also nice and clean
