This is just a great Mexican food restaurant. Come here for food, we did on recommendation from our bus tour guy who eats there he said three days a week. Restaurant itself is nothing special, but food is as authentic as it comes. Starting with a table salsa, homemade tortillas, awesome refried beans great tacos and fajitas.

Tried this place for the first time today. Hands down THE best picadillo in town. I’ve searched high and low for years. I’m actually probably going to stop back in for the second time today it was so good. Leo was our server. He made our lunch experience painless. Typically rushed, trying to beat the crowd and time your food. Get your check and back to work. He had an extensive knowledge of the menu, and the best recommendations. Ask for him. He is the best!

Amazing food. Great service. Food came out that. Staff shared their suggestions on what they liked and have tried. No rush to finish and leave. Definitely a visit for those looking for great Mexican..

4.5 stars! Our food temperature was warm at best, not hot. It took a long time to get drink refills, I finally got up and asked someone in the kitchen. The server was very nice just a little slow, however flavor of the food was exceptional! Very delicious food and for that we would come back. My 4-yr-old loved the chicken tacos

Seat yourself sign @ lunch. I found a corner table. Lady came right away with a menu & take drink order& brought chips & salsa. The chips taste just like store bought. The salsa was delicious but spicy. I ordered the lunch #16. (Can't remember the name) The sirloin was a bit "fatty" The cheese on top was yellow instead of white like in Tennessee, however, it was yummy.
The vibrant yellow walls felt welcoming with pictures taken in various Texas locations. It was a bit loud.
There is no designated parking, however, I found street parking in spite of student loading zone signs during various hours.
