Well my sister, my daughter and I came into San Diego for the day *coming from San Fernando Valley*. We had originally reserved a spot for us at Juniper & Ivy nearby, but unfortunately they could not accommodate us as for the receptionist did a mistake on our reservation and put for the next week. So we had to look for another alternative. We found this place nearby and placed a reservation. They accommodated us plus another party of two that was with us as well. Seating was quick. Service was great. Great music as well since they have a live band playing with a phenomenal singer. We had a server named Wendy that took care of us for the night. Out of all my years dining in many restaurant. I have never had such amazing service. She came to our needs, made sure we were comfortable. My daughter whom is four years old can be very difficult when it comes to eating. What I loved about Wendy was that she sat next to her to ask her what she wanted to eat and communicated with her in a way so nicely and genuineness that I've never seen any other server do. She brought her some pasta and my daughter loved it. The food was amazing. I have no complaints. This was honestly the best service I ever had. Including how the other servers as well were making sure that my glass of water was full. I will certainly be coming back here guaranteed.

out of towners wandering around wanting dinner, but everything having a wait. ended up here and getting sat in the patio right away. our server was so attentive and friendly. we went through 3 bottles of wine and sat and people watched. there was music and piano playing and it was such a nice atmosphere. it is pricey, but worth it. we got the bruschetta which is unusual and amazing (it has figs!). I ordered the clams and linguine which did not disappoint. everyone was happy with their meals.

Really disappointed with the fillet mignon. It was a really small portion, accompanied by a single tomato slice the size of a quarter, all in a very large plate. Mediocre taste and ridiculous presentation. If the owners are Italian, they should be ashamed. And the manager should be fired for allowing this. I've been coming here for about 5 years now and every time I leave more disappointed. I'll try to avoid it next time.

Shameless gouging!
This past weekend our friend told us he would be singing at Po Pazzo on Saturday night. We all thought it would be great to go hear him and support him, so we rounded up a group of 10 to go that night. I checked the web site first and the food and wine lists looked reasonable.
When we were seated, we found a special "Valentine's Weekend" menu at our table instead of the usual menu. This translated to a very limited selection of items at outrageously inflated prices. There had been no mention of this on their web site. Had it not been for our friend playing, we would have all turned right around and left. As it was, we had 3 dinners and a couple of starters for the 10 of us and the final bill was still ridiculous.
$53 for a grilled fish? Are you kidding me? $50 corkage instead of the usual $25? Just how stupid do you think we are?
And oh by the way, the food was nothing special anyway!

It was a nice place, but if u are looking for a family place at a family price go else where. I got the nonas something or other and it was a3.5, I also got a crab cake, I love trying different area crab cakes and this one feel well short. This place is definitely a social restaurant
