If I could I would give them a negative star. This is by far the WORST Budget rental experience ever. Aimee is a very rude rep and not helpful at all. After today I will not be using budget in San Diego again. If I let you know I had a rental that was prepaid, why are you going to try and charge me again? I was asked so many questions that are all in my profile from previous rentals. Her response was if you were a fast break member your information would be saved. I can see she's not trying to get loyal customers for budget and her sidekick next to her was no better. Just as snotty. To make it even better, the vehicle was FILTHY. Horrible customer service!

Sal, the customer service agent whilst dropping off the car was absolutely disgusting. She was rude and abrupt. Her attitude was foul. She even swore at us for putting the car in the wrong space. Whilst budget are a great option for hire cars, this woman customer service abilities and decorum was atroshis. Very unprofessional and an embarrassment. She clearly has a low I.q. We are Australian tourists and have traveled the country and never encountered such bad and incompetent service! We even complained to another customer service agent to which he replied we know what she is like. The question needs to be asked, how is she still employed if they are aware of her attitude and behaviour. Will not be using before budget ever again!

I would give no stars if I good. Before we picked up our car we modified our reservation online and added a second driver. When we went to pick up our car the woman at the counter was very rude and would not let us add another driver even though we already had online; she was also very unpleasant when we did not want to buy extra features and packages. The person at the counter upstairs by the cars was also very unpleasant. The car we were given was by far the worst car I'd ever driven. It was incredibly scratched and dirty, it had very squeaky brakes and never really accelerated on the interstate. I will never rent from Budget again.

I am a very loyal Wyndham Rewards costomer and diamond member, and have become a equal loyal Budget costomer through their partnership with Wyndham. I travel extensavly throughout the country and I always receive excellent deals with Budget. San Diego Airport location has to be one of the nicest in the country, and they have a wonderful and helpful staff. My experience have always been exceptional. As an added perk I also receive bonus points with Wyndham for every car I rent, which is absolutely ideal for a frequently traveler like myself.

Good selection of rental cars and relatively comparable prices to its competitors. I don't have any loyalty programs as I just don't rent a car very much. The pickup process was very smooth and quick. I'm glad I did a walk around as their were cracks and dents in the body and one tire was almost flat.
