Every time I go to Petco Park I have a phenomenal time. From the staff to the entertainment on the video board to the fact that I get to watch baseball, Petco Park is one of my favorite places to be. It also helps that the padres fans are all so nice as well, even to visiting team fans. Try to park close to the stadium, though. The walk through the homeless population downtown is both a little depressing and unsanitary.

One of the best baseball parks in the US. It is an excellent place for family and friends, and also great for company events.
It offers food for every taste. Even for your sweet tooth.
There's a great beer selection around the venue as well, including microbrewery offerings.
You can't beat the weather.
The park behind the Outfield is an andina experience for kids and families.
Definitely worth visiting. I just wish they had a winning team.

First baseball experience. Padres v Dodgers....... Fantastic stadium, so conveniently located. Game outstanding. Food exceptional. Fun atmosphere. Couldn't have wished for a better experience. Sorry San Diego....Dodgers won!

Recording kept saying #1 ballpark, I guess they've never seen AT&T Park, which is breathtaking. Petco was nice, close to the water, a waterfront view would make it outstanding.
Easy to get to by public transportation. Public parking is available; however $25 & $30!
Hotdogs $10, peanuts $5, bottle of water $5, garlic fries $10.
It was an outing which we rarely make, so we jumped right in and had a great time.
I always dread leaving an event because of the traffic, San Diego got it right, we we out of there and on the freeway in minutes! Impressive.

This baseball park is so beautiful.... the scenery from every angle is awesome. So many places to get a bite to eat and the fact that you can bring your own food in...order take out from nearby places and eat in the park is so great.... parking on the street is great after 6pm because the meters are free then... you can also park across the street near the civic center and walk the bridge over to the stadium.... such an awesome park
