If you ask around for an authentic Chinese food recommendation and that you actually ask some real Chinese friends, you would like get recommended to come here. Yes, this place is not upscale. It is quite crowded. Nonetheless, I love the porridge and soup here! Once in a while, I crave for their porridge for breakfast and I just have to come here.

Definitely hole in the wall. Great soup selection, generous portion, food taste is good. Also service was quick. Otherwise facility could use a little improvement on cleanliness.

Best Hong Kong-style noodles in San Diego! I love this restaurant. It is a "hole in the wall" gem that serves delicious Chinese-Vietnamese food. The restaurant is kind of small so there might be a wait if there are a lot of people.

I always order the fresh beef steak with dry, large noodles. I've had the crispy pork with noodles and duck with noodles. I've also had their grass jelly drink. All of which are very delicious!!!

The waiters are very nice and cordial. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Hong Kong-style noodles!

Very affordable pricing on all the dishes. I ordered the beef and tendon egg noodles soup and the bowl was huge. We also got the quarter duck which was surprisingly a lot (9 pieces). And the Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and tasty
