I've dined at Saffron hundreds of times over the course of the last 17 years. The restaurant is under new management, and although the decor has been upgraded, the food has dropped off considerably. The ingredients are still fresh, but without the hovering presence of the former long-time ownerchef, Saffron has reverted to middle of the pack.

I've been coming to this restaurant for decades. It is definitely one of the best tasting cleanest Thai food restaurants in San Diego. They offered great prices and excellent service.

Excellent food. Fast service. Most of the staff are not English fluid but they work it out. Flavor is intense on their plates. Always the right temperature and prices are good.

Crispy pork belly!! With any rice, garlic, fried or white..incredible!!
My favorite Thai in a phenomenal area known for Thai restaurants. This place has the best crispy pork belly, done right with just the right amount of crisp. Have been here numerous times, never disappointed. Super recommend, especially since they get the spice levels right. A medium spice has my eyes watering!
