This restaurant is a hidden gem of San Diego. Lucky for me, I live a block away from it. The menu is impressive. Everything I have tried here is incredibly tasty. The service is always good. The cocktails are strong. The atmosphere is relaxing. Try the tiramisu. I can see why this place has been open since the 60s. They're doing a lot of things very right.

Good Italian food. Good quality service and not a long wait to eat. Food was good not amazing, good wine list as well, but appropriately priced and convenient location.

Had a small dinner party with a total of 8 people. The owner, Joe checked on us several times throughout the evening. The hostesses were always readily available answering any questions and keeping our drinks full.
The food portions were very large and tasted great.
I can not say enough good things about the restaurant, the atmosphere, the owner, the service, cooks, and food. Definitely a place to take a date or just enjoy great Italian food.

I arrived at the restaurant at 7:40 pm. The restaurant supposed to close at 9 pm. One of our friend recommended this place and we were very excited. However, when we arrived, the hostess said sorry we close early without any customer relationship skill. We were very disappointed. Luckily we found a place that close at the same time as he Venetian but they served us good food and wines.
