Love this place. My sister suffers from PML Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy , which cause her to develop Epilepsy. We are now on treatment 30 and her doctor at Scripps Clinic Mission Valley has noticed she is more alert. After treatment 12 the candida (yeast build up) around her face and in her hair has decrease close to non-existence. We have a meeting with her neurologist to decrease her seizers medicine to try to get more physical results for the last 10 treatments. The staff here have created such a warm environment and answer any and all questions you may have. Bob the owner is also easy accessible to answer any and all your needs.

I can't say enough wonderful things about hyperbaric treatment in general, and San Diego Hyperbarics in particular. This place has helped me through some serious health challenges, and Bob and his staff are always ready with a smile (or in Bob's case, a joke) and good advice on getting well. These folks go the extra mile and I've see a lot of success stories unfold at SDHB (AKA Healing Chambers of America), from Lyme patients, to brain injury, to Cerebral Palsy, to Chronic Fatigue, to wound healing of all kinds. Personally, I've dealt with Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Candida, and Rheumatoid Arthritis at this clinic, not to mention healing up from a broken bone in about half the time, and recovering from gum surgery so fast the surgeon called me a "poster girl" for healing. One of my kids has been treated there for Autism, and another for Lyme.

The healing properties of oxygen are well documented and believe me, this stuff really works. Oh, and the chambers are comfortable AND you can watch movies, listen to music, read or just rest in there. If you're wondering if hyperbarics might be for you, I highly recommend you give it a try -- and this is the place to do it.

My first take on the place is RUDE!!!!!! Not a fan of the staff at all. I would have to agree with Tim it is very dangerous to have on any articles of clothing that can potentially cause a spark. The high level of oxygen can present a fatal explosion. More care needs to be given to the safety of the patients. If you are looking for cheap therapy consider this. What is your safety worth? If you believe this to be false, consider the chemical reaction of liquid oxygen and hydrocarbons. BANG!!

These people seem to really care, it is always a friendly atmosphere. I have been doing dives here for a few years and whenever I need a tune up for a health challenge I've dealt with, my doctor sends me in there for a series of dives.

My favorite part is that they have DVD players and a stereo system hooked to the private chambers and it makes the time fly. I just read a review that said the staff were not dressed professionally, which is a complete lie because everyone there is always been wearing hospital scrubs when I have had treatments. That review must have been a competitor, anyway if you need hospital grade Hyperbarics at a good price San Diego Hyperbarics at the Gateway medical center is the place for you.
