Great experience. Captain Lou knew where to go and was a solid guide. He made it fun for all of us. New experience but would do it again. Captain Lou took our group to a place that we had a lot of luck catching sharks. In total we caught 5 sharks in the timeframe. Clean boat as well as excellent equipment. I would recommend this to any and all, regardless of age or experience. Cant wait until next Summer to do it again. Thanks a ton Dave and Captain Lou!!!

What an unbelievable experience. If you are a fly fisherman, even a beginner like myself, and love to fight big fish on the fly, then a day out on the boat with Dave is the way to go. Dave set me and two other buddies up on back-to-back days fighting 80-120 pound Mako sharks all day long. To call it a fishing experience of a lifetime is an understatement, it is a must! Thanks again Dave, I will see you next year!

Dave with OnTheFly is real stand up guy and an expert at his craft. He knows the fish better than they know themselves and was able to stay a step ahead and keep us on fish. Dave is his team are professional and fun. He knows how to catch fish while keeping the experience at the highest level. During our two days with Dave we caught fish and laughed so much our stomach's hurt. I think Dave could probably cater to any skill level as well. Can't say enough good things about him and his team.

The atmosphere on the boat is unlike any charter I have taken in the past. Dave’s positive attitude, passion, and unparalleled knowledge of the fishery make for an unforgettable experience. He goes out of his way to make the day relaxing and fun while chasing these awesome apex predators. Would highly recommend to anyone from families to old buddies, On The Fly is the place to go!

In 2012 my wife and I wanted to do something crazy for our 10th wedding anniversary. After talking with Dave on the phone I realized he was an up front and honest guy. We booked our full day shark trip for later that year. We fished with Captain Lou and had an amazing time. Lou was absolutely incredible! He was so laid back and easy going that it felt like we were fishing with an old friend. My wife has not fished as much as I have and Lou walked her through exactly what to expect and how to react to the shark. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with the both of us and calmly walked us through each encounter with these amazing fish. My wife landed the first fish of over 150 lbs and we boated many more!! Needless to say, we were HOOKED! Since that initial trip we have fished multiple times each year with both Lou and Dave and have recommended On The Fly Fishing Charters to many friends and family who all have had amazing trips! Here in Utah, I am a part time hunting and fishing guide myself and full time salesman. I have a good idea of what it takes as a guide to do everything possible to have a successful trip and these guys consistently exceed my every expectation. My only caution is be forewarned, you won't fish with these guys just once...!!
