Been coming to Tempest for years. It's one of San Francisco's hidden gems. It is a dive bar, but the atmosphere is great. It's a good place to come to have some drinks, watch sports, and even eat. Tempest always has a good selection of bottled beers and beers on draft, as well as a fully stocked bar of hard alcohol. Fun fact about the Tempest; it is one of the top selling bars of PBR in the nation. They've broken the top 20 the last 2 years, and they have the plaques hanging on the wall to prove it! Definitely stop by if you haven't been.

Great dive bar in SF. Favorite bar in town, with good vibes and a pool table. Food is great too: if the bar isn't serving food, you can swing by the Box Kitchen (next door) for tasty food.

Gets really crowded during workdays around lunch.

My go to spot! The atmosphere is so chill and the bartenders are super nice and great! Music is very versatile

Cool dive bar like athmosphere with fun music. Only reason for 1 star is they double charged me. I had my fiance close out for me, and they double the bill on her. Be aware!

My favorite dive bar downtown. Has a spot next door called the Box Kitchen. HIGHLY recommend this place (beer is good and cheap) and the kitchen next door. They have one of the most delicious oatmeal stouts I've ever had. It's so damn good it's hard to stop at 2.
