Conservatory of Flowers

This place is truly amazing. If you like flowers then this place is the right one for you. We went there at 3 and explored till 4.30, the last ticket is sold at 4 and the conservatory closes at 4.30.

I would only recommend it if you are really really into flowers. It's kind of small and overpriced for what it is. I did the whole thing in about twenty minutes. Go to the California Academy of Sciences instead up the road you'll be more impressed.

This psychedelic light show is accompanied by period rock and roll. Very cool for this anniversary of the Summer of Love.

Spectacular gardens. The butterfly space is very popular. I saw a butterfly hatch which was quite cool.

We had already been to Store lake and the Japanese Tea Garden when we decided to stop by the Conservatory. It was by far the best of the three places, even though they were doing construction in the main room. The amount and variety of flowers here was impressive. It was well worth it.
