Somewhat disappointed, originally Google maps sent me to the parking lot of a market, on the wrong side of Geary blvd.
But further exploration, confirmed the address is correct.
Near the police station, as there are cruisers parked in the vicinity.

As for the park itself, it is rather run down and neglected.
There isn't even a water fountain for the parched visitors to slake a thirst.
Though pets owners do bring their doges here, quite often as evidenced by the dead grass patches
There are old style benches here, none of the newer ones with a bar in the middle to discourage sleepers. Probably due to the police station next-door.
So if you need to pee it has to be at one of the nearby businesses, or behind a tree.

While there is a sandbox, there is no other actual playground furniture for children. It appears to be a park more suited for doge owners that normal rec & parks users. Which is probably why it ranks as low priority for maintenance.

The photos of a pristine park, were likely taken when the park was first opened to the public.
The dilapidated park pictures are more recent, a few I took, and others by park visitors. Fair warning.

Quiet oasis. Kids will play for hours in sandbox and climbing trees.

Not much for kids - just a sad little sandbox. Could be a nice place for an adult to sit down for a quiet moment.
