Wonderful point of view over the city: possibility to pay 8usd to go even higher in the Coit tower. Not necessary for us as the views are 360° stunning already!

So I came for coit tower which in in the middle of the park. However if you don't want to pay the $8 to go up, then this is your place! Some amazing views from here for free!
Lovley little park to explore. Long walk up but you can get the bus!

Most people come here for the SF landmark Coit tower. Don't forget to bring a cup of Italian coffee from North Beach or dim sum from Chinatown and enjoy your good life in this park. You can walk from North Beach and Chinatown from Filbert street and take Filbert street stairs/steps to Levi's Plaza to see the fountain and blue jeans dating back to 1873.

Beautiful view of the city. There is a public restroom and drinking fountains. It's a great place to walk and take pictures.

We didn't take car, we were on foot. We took the stair route and it was between the home grown garden and flowers smelled fresh and blossomed. Great small trek trail! The tower was closed but we did get a great view of the SF from the top.
