Great place to sit and relax, ideal spot to enjoy some. The MLK waterfall is very impressive and the carousel on the far side is worth a visit.

Really cool place to chill. There are tables for sitting but the grass and large rocks work fine too. Lots of food options, both cheap and expensive, available.

Beautiful, beautiful place. It's next to the Metreon and art institute/gallery, so you could spend several hours here no problem. Really hard to describe how captivating the views are here. It contrasts especially well with the grittiness of the area. That's only in the daylight though. Once night falls, it gets kinda terrifying

Beautiful place to sit on a bench or the grass, enjoy the weather and talk, read or think. There's an elevated area with a couple of really cool places for tea or a bite. There's a monument fountain for the fight for civil rights with Dr. King quotes - very moving and educational.
