We had a 7:45pm reservation for 2, but weren't seating until 8:35pm - a 50 minute wait. Once we were seated, it took the waitress 15 more minutes to acknowledge that we had sat down. She did not bring us water and did not ask what drinks we wanted until almost 45 minutes later. What started as a great date night ended up being an endless wait for food and drink. Would NOT recommend this cafe to anyone.

We've been there 4 times since it's reopened. Each time disappointed more than the last, and this was the last time we will go. It's a shame because we used to love this place. The food is mediocre at best and the service isn't any better. With all the restaurants in SF, go somewhere better.

Great old fashioned! Love the overall look for the place. High ceilings, ceiling fans, private booths make for a romantic atmosphere. The food makes it great for groups. Unfortunately, service is spotty, maybe due to a small, overworked waitstaff that if you’re in a booth, you just tend to be forgotten.

Meh! Long wait at the table. Fried chicken was definitely better than the burger and fries. Not the best choice of restaurant for that night.
