Chef's tasting menu is equal to the best food anywhere. Service is great. Decor is beautiful. The noise level and music level allow for pleasant conversation, even on a Saturday night. The staff are engaging and attentive. The perfect spot.

The sophistication, ambiance and value of Michael Mina cannot be challenged. This flagship spot is a must for an artistic journey through food and flavor with a wide array of accompanying drinks to offer ab incredible experience. If you are looking for a high quality meal in SF to capture the experience of SF cuisine I'd highly recommend Michael Mina.

Our wonderful friends took me and my wife here for our birthday dinner. We each had the five course meal and it was amazing! The staff was on point, food was delicious, and the Chef sent out this amazing dessert tray b/c it was our birthday!! Thank You!

Amazing seafood and an incredible bar. Gorgeous ambiance. Expensive, but this is one of the few things that live up to the hype. The Chef's Tasting Menu is an 8 course dinner extravaganza you will remember for the rest of your life!

Service was fast but the food was mediocre, uninspired, and definitely not worth the money. I couldn't even finish the vegetarian tamales.
The desserts, however, were good. Literally the only good course out of five.
Do not waste your money here. There are better places in sf.
