I got lucky and got a seat right away but I hear it's usually crowded. The service was very friendly, the wine was excellent, the food boasted big portions and was very tasty. I plan to visit again when I'm in the area.

When my parents are in town we frequently eat here, we all love it. Most of the time there is a wait... even if you arrive when they first open. The good news is that they give you a complementary glass of wine while you wait and they keep it flowing when the wait is a little longer. It has a really warm neighborhood feel with friendly patrons and service. My favorite dish here is the calamari steak.

The good news is that they give you a complementary glass of wine while you wait and they keep it flowing when the wait is a little longer. There was a wait when I showed up and me and my wife were going to leave. But I'm so glad I dident. There parmesan-crusted halibut fish is the best I've had. The restaurant is a little small but the food is delicious and they serve wine while you wait. The lady that served us was very friendly. If I come to San Francisco ever again I will be coming back to this restaurant for sure. I wish this restaurant was close to me. The locals are very lucky to have this restaurant and this delicious food next to them.

Don't expect anything daring or trendy. This is a neighborhood restaurant featuring comfort food, justifiably famous for its fresh fish prepared to perfection. The clientele is almost exclusively mature, if not elderly, San Franciscans. Service is excellent. An institution in the outer Richmond.

Once you're seated, the menu is short but all high quality. The staff are very accommodating and polite. I would definitely go back if I was ever in the neighborhood!
