The one star given goes strictly to the host. Unfortunately I do not remember his name. He was polite, personable, and attentive. The star of the show. Otherwise the service was terrible. Food was whatever. I'd rather go to Pizza Hut. I hate Pizza Hut.

Good Chicago-style pizza. But it was not the best I've ever eaten. Strangely, the crust was one of the best parts of the pizza. Not bad, just not amazing. Service was good. Diet coke was completely flat and watery.

This place was great a year ago. Now, I have ordered a pizza via phone a few times for pickup and two of those times they have "lost" my order with no sign of remorse or fix other than waiting another hour for a deep dish. The cashier blames some call center and gives you an option of no pizza or to wait out another hour for them to make it. You've lost another Hayes Valley resident as a customer.
