Tasty food, nice staff - and a great choice for brunch, with items that aren't the same old thing - plus both breakfast and lunch choices on the brunch menu.

This is a GREAT Mediterranean restaurant. I went there for the 1st time yesterday and the 1st thing you notice is the amazing mid-eastern theme decor. There was plenty of seatings both inside and outside and the place is inviting. We got water served in metal cups and got bread with olive oil (with olives in it).
We ordered Lamb-Beef Kofte and Lamb Kabab plate. I was amazed by the quality of the food, the lamb was cooked perfectly with crispy sides and pink in the middle, not too chewy at all. The plates came with beans, salad and awesome white rice with veggies. The Kofte were light, crispy outside soft inside and blended well with the rice and beans combination. I am definitely going back for the food.
Service:
Not so great. We were not "greeted", we got a silent treatment. The guy pointed at the table, put down menu, got our order without saying a single word and not looking at us half the time. It was kind of disappointing but apart from that it was all good.

Pera is such a nice restaurant. From the decor, the table setting, the food and the service ... all was perfect. We will be back for sure .... a delight.
As promised on my next visit to San Francisco (2 weeks ago) we went to Pera. Exactly the same great venue, great service and great food.

I love the food here and the service is always amazing. My favorite restaurant on the 18th street strip. Only yogurt I eat. Everything is good and first class delivery!
