Absolutely wonderful stay! All the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, from hot chocolate in the room (because we don't drink coffee), to getting us an extended late checkout because my roommate was sick and we didn't want to have her tired at the airport too early. The cleaning lady even heard my roommate cough so badly from the hallway, she offered her a bottle of water! We will definitely be back next time we are in San Francisco.
Clean quiet room. Good view. Close to a LOT of shopping. Solid wifi. Definitely recommend. Might have weak cell signal in the conference rooms depending on your provider.

The event held there was a fundraiser. The Grand Ballroom was the location. It was a sit down dinner with videos and awards ceremony. The sound system was adequate although could have been louder. The video screen, two of them, made it easier to be seen from different angles in the room. The service for dinner was professional, although not friendly. The food served was inconsistent temperature wise. My swordfish came out steaming whereas my wife's came lukewarm. There was dessert reception in an adjoining room. One had to get up and go to the adjoining room to gather desserts to either eat there (tables provided to stand but no seating) or return to seating in the ballroom. Overall, a beautiful location with good but not the best service one would expect from such a quality hotel.

Very comfortable Marriott bed. Quiet. Concierge lobby was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was great and appetizers in evening were very tasty. Desserts were nice in evening. Very elegant. Walk on Market Street but avoid Mission street.

This hotel is centrally located and you can reach Union Square by walking. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The top floor bar, The View had a perfect night view of San Francisco skyline. Hotel staff were friendly, respectful, and hospitable. However, there were some information the front desk missed to communicate regarding benefits of a Marriott elite member.
If you so happen to be in San Francisco during an unusual heat wave and wanting to take a dip into a pool, you cannot at this hotel. For they have removed their pool per the front desk personnel. We were offered the use Marriott Courtyard's pool, which was about 2 blocks away! Other than a few glitches mentioned above, this hotel is still perfect for a San Francisco visit.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The location is easy to get to, it's very close to a BART station. The gym is amazing, it's two stories tall. There's a roof top garden that's a pleasant retreat (though it's a little weird to access, you have to walk through the gym's top floor) and the bar at the top of the high rise has one of the best views of the city. Definitely will stay here again and would recommend to others.
